Bill passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born in Brandon, Manitoba. Bill is survived by Agnes, his wife of 62 years; children, Ian (Pierrette), Bruce (Michelle) and David (Elizabeth); sister, Carol Janzen; grandchildren, Meite Timshel, Bonnie Timshel (Kristjan), Manon Timshel, Stephanie, Julie Wise (Karsten), Tomas, Haley Mass (Brian), Brianne; great-grandchildren, Sydney Mass, Zoey Mass and Felix Timshel.

Bill was a certified watchmaker and a graduate jeweller. He had his own store in Russell, Manitoba before moving to Coquitlam in 1967. He retired to Qualicum Beach in 1995 and then to Victoria in 2016. Bill loved the challenge of repairing watches, clocks, cameras and other small technical items.  He also enjoyed camping trips with family.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Shannon Oaks and the Royal Jubilee Hospital for the care and support provided to Dad.
