Wilma passed away peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with Cancer, on May 8th, 2019 in Victoria, BC. On her last day, she was surrounded by family and spent her final hours in the loving company of her sons Glen and Philip. She was born on September 8, 1936 in Vancouver, BC.

Predeceased by first husband Dr. Donald Gaudin, daughter Marguerite, brother Richard and sister Linda. Survived by her loving husband Ed Rowley; brother Michael; sons Glen (Diane) and Philip (Maria); grandchildren Victoria, Andrea, Marcus, Acacia, Travis, Aiden, Despina, and Theodore; stepsons Craig (Alison), Grant (Edwina), and Bruce. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends.

Wilma grew up in Sechelt, BC and graduated from Elphinstone Secondary school in 1954. After this, she was off to Vancouver to further her education and ultimately graduated from St. Paul’s School of Nursing in 1959. In 1960 she married Don and eventually settled in Victoria to raise her family. In 1984 she married Ed. Wilma was passionate about traveling, artwork, and helping others. She was active in the community serving many years as a volunteer at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the Victoria Hospice, and church groups. Most of all she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Memorial Service to be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
