Passed away quietly into the presents of her Lord Nov. 10, 2012. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Stan and her sister Dolly in 1998. Survived by her two daughters Wanda and Sharon (Trevor); her grandchildren Richard, Valerie, Daniel, Stefanie, William, Wyatt and Tyler. She was blessed with 5 great-grandchildren.

One of Gwen’s great joys was sewing and knitting for the missions.

 

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at Royal Oak Burial Park, followed by a Celebration of Gwen’s Life at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, (Vancouver & Johnson Streets) at 1:00 pm. Oak Bay Gospel Chapel, (1900 Oak Bay Ave.) will be holding a tea for Gwen at 2:30 pm. Special thanks for the excellent care and support she received from the staff in her short stay at Royal Jubilee Hospital on 6 South! In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp Imadene, (Box 374, 9175 South Shore Rd., Mesachie Lake, BC, V0R 2N0). Condolences may be offered to the family below.
