Passed away peacefully in his home on November 19, 2012 and went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. Born in Dunnville, ON on January 8, 1931 he is predeceased by his daughter, Joanne; parents, Kenneth and Euphemia Mackenzie; sister, Olive; nephew, Stephen; and many other loved ones. Ernest is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Joan Naomi; son, Phillip; daughters, Patricia, Heather, and Lisa; sisters, Joy and Anna; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons and daughter-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many other family members, the congregation at Holy Trinity, and friends.
A funeral service will be held at HOLY TRINITY ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1962 Murray Rd. Sooke BC on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be offered prior to the service at 12:00 noon. A reception in the church hall will follow immediately following the service.

I was searched for William Mackenzie. Mackenzie arrived in Gilbert and married to Reetira. They had 4 children Melissa, George, William and Ernest, and I was borned from Melissa, she’s my great great great grandmother.. I saw your Dad’s name and the last name and I am really touched to see same names with my family.
