Beverly Catherine Dyck, 75, of Victoria, passed away at the Jubilee Hospital on November 29, 2012. A memorial service will be held at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver Street in Victoria on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00 am. Pastor Clayton Dougan will be officiating.
Beverly is survived by her devoted son Warren, her loving sister Betty and other caring friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
If the quality of a life is measured by the number of people that are touched through love, Beverly’s life was exemplary. She was a wonderful wife, magnificent mother, devoted friend and dedicated nurse. She loved God, adored babies, delighted in dogs and was charitable to strangers in need. It was her lifelong habit to put other’s wants and needs above her own and in this way, the world was a better place for her having been here. She is sorely missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Sharron Higgins To Warren and Family;
Sending my love and sympathies to you all on the passing of Bev last week. Bev and I worked together at the Royal Jubilee Hospital
in the70’s. She was a wonderful compassionate nurse who
loved her patients and her nursing career. I have stayed in touch
with her through the years through her friend Donna.

I knew Beverly through her son, Warren, during the late 1980’s. She was warm, welcoming, generous, and gracious. I so admired her fortitude and ability to care for people on hospice, bringing warmth and cheer to their final days. She embodied living life to serve others. I know she was a blessing to many.
