On 20 October, 2015, Stella Ferbey of Victoria, formerly of Edmonton, passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She is survived by her oldest son Dennis, his wife Patti and grandchildren Travis, Isaac, and Stasia; youngest son Andy, his wife Judy, grandchild Dathan, and great-grandchild Kason; brother Danny Malinowski and his wife Barb; pre-deceased by her husband Omeilan Ferbey. A Celebration of life in Victoria, BC, will be announced. A graveside service and luncheon will be held in Fedorah, AB, spring 2016.

My dear great antie Stella you were the one part of my life I have grown to love over the last twelve years. When I thought about my family, you where at the top of my list for knowledge of my fragile past. Thank you for all the insight and positive role you played for me and my family’s life. We were saddened to read of Stella’s passing. She was a special lady. We have many fond memories of her from the good old days in Edmonton. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all of you.
