With heavy hearts, we announce Brenda’s passing. Born in Castleton, England, she immigrated to Canada in 1953 with her husband, Henry (predeceased) and their two small children.
Brenda worked for five years as a civilian member of the RCMP before moving to the Provincial Government Water Licencing Branch and then to Health Records. She was an avid reader, enjoyed dancing, poetry, gardening, knitting and needlepoint. Always willing to share her wisdom and sense of humour, she was loyal to her family and friends.
She is survived by sons Roger and Peter (Meredith).
Her family extends their thanks to Dr. A. Grewal for his kind and expert care, and to Joanne, Brenda’s “girl Friday”. Sincere thanks also to the doctors and nurses at RJH ER and the Heart Health unit.
