MAH, ROBINSON February 11, 1931 to June 16, 2008 With deep sorrow we announce the death of Robbie Mah following a long battle with cancer. He will be mourned by Alma, his devoted wife of 52 years, and his two daughters, Corinne and Louanne (Alistair McKinnon). Predeceased by his brother Douglas and sister Victoria, he will be greatly missed by his sisters Margaret Wong, Norma Soon, Jean der Woon, and May Mah, as well as many nieces and nephews. Rob lived and taught school for many years in Port Alberni before retiring to Victoria. He leaves behind many friends in both cities. His lifelong interests included photography, model airplanes, automobiles, clocks, gardening, and history. Heartfelt appreciation goes to all the family, friends, and medical professionals who gave him support and comfort during his illness. No service by request. Flowers gratefully declined. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Well girls, your dad was always keeping us in the loop with news flashes, pictures of the old Volvo (he loved that car), always bragging to Guy about what great shape it was in. We enjoyed receiving photos of you, Alma, the garden and the wildlife that sometimes visited his garden. You and your parents were never far away, thanks to your dad’s updates. We will miss him.
