Mark Christie Karen and Brenda,
My condolence to you both on the “Promotion to Glory” of your Mom. May the life time of memories which you have of her, and the assurance that she is now with her heavenly father enjoying the glories of heaven, comfort and reassure you both.
I have fond memories of your Mom and spending time in their home in North Delta. She had the true gift of hospitality, a good listener, made me feel comfortable and a good cook too. God knows that we grieve in these times, and he carries us through them. Psalm 1116:15 reads: Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” This is a special time even for the Lord.
Sincerely,
Mark Christie

Annette McInnes I have known and loved your mother for 23 years. Good memories of our times together—-like making blackberry jelly together in Victoria, the lovely cards she always sent and our almost-weekly greetings on the phone. It was great to have Muriel, Bob and Karen visit us in KY. We miss her already and are praying that God will bring comfort and healing in this time of loss. We also rejoice in Resurrection Hope!

Uncle Earl I have been blessed to have had a fine Christian home environment with Muriel as the oldest sibling. Of course we scrutinized her growing relationship with Bob as he peddled his bike to our home many times – needing his five cell flashlight to see his way home at night. It’s funny what memories come to the surface, but as the youngest, I, personally, was grateful for Muriel’s intervention on my behalf when my two brothers got a little aggressive. Then too – the 25 cents she gave me every week from her paycheck at Hobbs Glass helped endear her to me, as well! Seriously, I shall miss the weekly phone conversations and her never failing Birthday and Christmas cards and messages…and just knowing she was there when four of our family were already in Heaven. May God bless you Karen and Brenda and Armstrong Tribe!
