Heather Grubb To Sherri, Di, Mike, Rosa, Jessie and your family,
Words cannot express how truly saddened and sorry I am for your profound loss.
Gramma was such an amazing woman; a strong, genuine and loving soul whose unwavering support and kindness touched the hearts of all those lucky enough to have met her.She was “The Peoples’ Gramma”; the kind of woman who generously welcomed every guest with open arms, treating all those who walked through the door as if we were royalty.
Gramma’s family and her home were her pride and joy! She was a proud matriarch of an incredible legacy ~ the love she felt for you was bigger and stronger than anything I have ever seen, and I believe that love blazed the path that carried her all the way to Heaven.
It was a blessing to have known her ~ thank you for sharing her with us! Sending you all my deepest sympathies and condolences during this difficult time.
Love, Heather xoxo

Gayle McDonald I hope the thought of her reunited with your Dad brings you all some smiles ay this difficult time.
Much love to your family.

To the Giles family: I was sorry to read about the death of your dear mother, Betty, in the TC. The Giles/Ritchie families were some of the people that made Cadboro Bay a special place to live. I know that many of you were long time patients of my husband, Dr. Bob and when I read of the deaths of so many of our generation I remember a remark he made soon after he retired. He was reading the obits and said that “these young guys aren’t doing their job”. I know it really isn’t true but some days it feels that way. Please accept my sincerest sympathy in the loss of a great lady, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Pat Young
