Dear Annette,
As you know I was so sad when you told me of Ed’s passing. Over the years I came to rely on Ed’s competency and solid advice. I also so appreciated his acting as treasurer for the Victoria Children’s Museum board. He was a lovely man and I miss him.
with love,
Julian Young
Dear Annette,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your husband.
Ed was a wonderful, witty individual with a quick mind and a big heart. He worked on my family’s taxes for years and I always looked forward to working with him when tax season came around. It would usually take a few exchanges of email and phone calls. And we always talked about the more important things like family and vacations.
What a tremendous loss. My heart goes out to you and your extended family.
Annette
So sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Ed. The great times we had at the Auditor General were very special and I think of them often.
Love from both of us.

Annette,
Please accept our sincerest condolences. Ed was our accountant, however, we considered him a friend. He was always quick to respond to our inquiries and we loved his sense of humour. We will miss him at tax time.
As we are out of the country, we will not be able to attend the service for Ed but he and your family will be in our thoughts
