Del was one of my first customers at the Wolseley showroom in Calgary. He and I instantaneously had a connection, he my hilarious client, me his consultant telling him “why are you wanting polished brass bathroom fixtures”? That was 2003. It was one of those relationships whereas we never lost touch. I ended up living in Victoria, then Nanaimo. Inevitably he and Annette would message me to meet for dinner when they were in Nanaimo. My sister started to join us, making us (according to Del), the Twisted Sisters. He remains in my heart as he is one of the best humans I have ever met. I miss you my friend.
