I worked with Jennifer many year’s ago when BPA was first developing LiDAR and vegetation impairment identification. She was a pleasure to work with, very professional and a credit to her profession. I will always remember her for being very detail oriented and was instrumental in helping us to develop our program. I am sure she will be missed by many.

Jen, it’s taken me some time to write this, to find the right words. I’ve written several statements on behalf of the company, all of which were heartfelt, but I wanted to leave a personal message as well.

I miss you, your dedication, your sense of humour, and especially our Friday chats. Even the ones where we debated and disagreed, lol! You were a part of my daily life for many years, and I think of you often.

To Jen’s family, friends and other colleagues, I’m so sorry for your loss. When she reached out to the team, Jen encouraged us to live life to the fullest because things change in an instant, and I hope you can take her words to heart as we are.

So sad. My condolences to her sister Caroline.
I’ve known Jen since I started working with her at Digital Dimensions Inc. in 1992. We went our separate work ways in early 2000, and in 2001 I started working for Terra Remote Sensing. 3 or 4 years after that, guess who’s hired by Terra – yes, my friend Jen. We had many years of working together at Terra until she left around 2018.
Jen loved her curling and golf – we had many discussions about the various strategies employed during the Scotties or Briers. She knew her stuff.
She was very involved in looking after her Dad as he dealt with his dementia. We had quite a few conversations re Ken’s plans and how to deal with them. She took it all in stride.
Jen, you’ll be missed, my friend.

  • Terra Remote Sensing

On behalf of Terra, our thoughts are with Jennifer’s family and friends. A number of us worked alongside Jen for many years and knew her as dedicated and hard worker. She was feared for her keen game at our early golf tournaments and respected around project planning tables. We had some good laughs over the years. Our condolences, she will be missed.

Too young. I did not know Jennifer well, we became acquainted at the Curling rinks. She was a keen competitor and had a great sense of fun. Condolences to the family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of cousin Jen’s passing. Though we didn’t see each other often, she was frequently in my mind and always in my heart. I truely respected the way she lived — with authenticity, independence, and a spirit of adventure. Her memory will always be warmly held. My thoughts are with those close to her during this time.

  • Focal Engineering Team

On behalf of the entire team at Focal Engineering, our sincerest condolences to Jennifer’s family and friends. Jen contributed to every part of our work and team, and we are grateful to have worked alongside her for so many years. Our office isn’t the same without her, and we deeply miss our friend and colleague.
