In loving memory of Jenny Lynn Yorke, who passed away on August 3, 2025, in Victoria, BC. Jenny was born in Victoria, BC on October 1st, 1971. She was predeceased by her Dad Peter, Mum Sheilah, and her Auntie Ann. She will be greatly missed by her sister Melinda, Uncle Bill, cousins Matthew & Michael, her niece and nephew Mia & Matthew, and her many friends.

Jenny grew up in Victoria BC, where she filled her days with school, ballet, figure skating, and spending time with her friends. After finishing high school Jenny was a bookkeeper for several businesses in Victoria, Calgary, and Winnipeg.

Jenny enjoyed spending time with friends and going out for a good meal. She was a devoted and doting dog mom to Smokey, Louie, and Bailee. Jenny loved to laugh and was particularly fond of British comedy. Every Sunday, she set aside an hour to watch Coronation Street, a show she faithfully watched for over 20 years, often while nibbling on one of her favorite snacks-Jaffa cakes.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Monday, August 25th, 2025, at 2:00pm. Jenny’s favorite color was pink. Please feel free to help honor her memory by wearing something pink.

Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Dear Melinda, I have just seen the sad news of Jenny’s passing. Although I have not seen you and Jenny for many years, I remember you both so fondly from the opening days of the OB Figure Skating Club. I loved coaching you both and although I have missed the memory service for Jenny, I would love see you if you are still in town. Last I knew, you were living in California. Thinking of you and sending my sincere condolences on the loss of your sister.

I may have not known Jenny very well because she was 2 grades ahead of me. I am sorry that she is no longer with us. She is at peace and with God now. He will plan her next mission.

    I am so sorry Melinda.
Jenny and I talked at least once a week and she was planning to come visit again in East Sooke.
We worked together for awhile a couple of years ago. And we had rekindled our friendship last year. She loved talking about her youth and friends and you and her mom and Dad. She was thankful for all your care packages and personal items you would get for her.

    Hugs and love
    Ruth Ann
Ps I have her “Little Book of Singing Graces” which you may wish to have back.
