Born April 14 1946 in Victoria BC, (one day before her twin sister) and passed away on August 15, 2025 also in Victoria, BC.
Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Jan Ford, as well as her older sister Sandra Pedersen.
Survived by daughter, Debra Gillies, granddaughter, Victoria Riley (Bret) and great-granddaughter Savanna whom she enjoyed meeting at Rom Knot Park in Brentwood Bay. Also by her son, John Argau (Andrea) and his children Owen, Willow and Pyatt. Lovingly remembered by her sister Donna Lok (Henry), nieces and nephew, as well as Sergio and Carmen Argau.
Denise spent her childhood in Oak Bay before moving to Brentwood Bay to raise her family. She was well known for baking chocolate chip cookies and butter tarts – she was also an avid knitter.
Denise spent over 45 years in the insurance industry both in Brentwood Bay and Victoria. She enjoyed getting to know her clients and helping them understand their needs.

Denise was loved by all. She had the kindest heart and was the best and always welcoming sister-in-law. We loved visiting her in Canada and swapping our funny stories and adventures. Always had those chocolate chip cookies available too. You will be forever missed, we loved you
