It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Burns, on October 4th, 2025, at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. Robert was born on October 3rd, 1957, in Victoria, British Columbia. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Burns (1924-2010) and Bertha Burns, nee Christianson (1921-1999). Robert is survived by his sister, Joyce Burns, his aunts, Deanna McMillan of Port Moody, and Helen Howe of Sidney, as well as numerous cousins.
Rob enjoyed golf and watching his beloved Boston Bruins.
No service will be held, as per Robert’s wishes.

Neil Atkinson I had the pleasure of working by Robert’s side for a few years. We shared many laughs and stories to pass the time in the truck. He was a kind, humerous, and special person. I just wanted send my condolences to the family.
