It is with profound sadness that we share with you the passing of our dear wife, mother, sister, nana, cousin and friend to many. Colleen passed January 20th at Royal Jubilee Hospital following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Colleen was the heart of our clan, which was everything to her, especially her two much loved granddaughters Makena and Abigail.
Colleen was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 29th, 1950. She was proud of her ‘prairies’ birthplace as well as her Irish heritage through her mother Pamela and father Herbert.
Colleen moved with her family to Victoria 1968 where she attended Claremont high school. It was there that she met her future husband, Dave. They were married in 1971.
Colleen worked in CIBC banking, Royal Trust company and retired from the Min. of Health. In retirement she enjoyed travelling with her husband Dave, family and friends.
Colleen had a special love for animals, having dedicated a lot of her time to saving lives through rescuing, fostering and raising much needed funds by hosting garage sales and supporting many local rescue organizations.
Colleen is and always will be, deeply missed by her husband Dave, son Brad (Steph), daughter Jennifer (Adam), granddaughters Makena and Abigail, siblings June (Glynne), Shelley, Keith (Shirley), Wendy (Jim), plus nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
For all who knew and loved Colleen there will be a Celebration of Life on March 13th, 2026 (2:00-4:00pm) in the Sequoia Center at McCall Gardens 3665 Falaise Drive, Victoria.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Elaine Manz Ray and I send our sincerest sympathies. I have fond memories of our highschool times at Campbell and at your pool on Anderson Avenue Regina in the 60’s! It was wonderful to see you again -after many years -on Vancouver Island. Elaine Manz (Clarke). Sending Love to Dave, your family and friends – I know you will be dearly missed

I knew Colleen from the aquatics classes at Commonwealth Pool. She spoke of her family often and was one of the most optimist people I have met. Her smile was a constant. We will miss her in the pool.
