Passed away peacefully in Victoria BC on March 12, 2026, after a short illness. Her husband Karl Maier and immediate family Kendall (Shaun), and Meredith (Daniel), will miss her. Predeceased by her sister Terry, Tracy is survived by her sisters Shelley (her husband Blake) and Sherry.

Tracy was a graduate from UBC with a Masters in Community Planning and had a lifelong career starting in 1978 in Municipal Planning serving many different communities and later, in Provincial Housing and Development policy and analysis.

Tracy touched many lives with her caring and outgoing personality and her extended relatives in Edmonton (Bob, Tyra, and Turner) and her friends and family throughout BC will greatly miss her.
