Diane Rose Reid passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her father, Buzz Curry; her mother, Gladys Curry; and her sister, Marie DeCicco.
Diane was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother, roles she cherished deeply. She will be lovingly remembered by Sherry Burton (Mark Firer), Charlene Burton (Virgil Tomandl), Marley Poniedzielnik (Nathan Gilmour), Ally Poniedzielnik (Marshall Wildman), and Robbie McCallum, as well as by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mom found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She was an avid knitter and a devoted gardener who took great pride in tending her garden. Nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with her grandchildren and visits with her Grand puppy Dottie, which filled her with immense joy. Even in her final days, she continued to laugh and smile, a reflection of her enduring spirit.
Diane had a wonderful laugh and could find humor even in the darkest moments. Her cheekiness often outshone even her sparkliest outfits. Her zest for life was evident not only in her adventures but also in the quiet, everyday moments at home. She found true happiness in the love of her family, the beauty of her surroundings, and the simple pleasures that made life meaningful.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, warmth, laughter, and the care she gave so generously to those around her.
As per her wishes, no service will be held.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Tanya Ackinclose Charlene, Sherry, and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of the time I spent working with your mom at Elections BC, she was always so much fun! She spoke often and with pride of her grandchildren and it was clear how much they meant to her. I hope your memories of her bring you comfort during this difficult time.
