With love and wonderful memories, we announce the passing of Lori Leanne Hawkins in Victoria with family by her side.
Leanne was predeceased by her brother, Brian and her grandparents. She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan and Braeden. She also leaves behind her mother Linda (Fred), her father Rick (Lorna), her aunties Gloria and Terry, and many friends, neighbours, colleagues and clients.
Born in Victoria and raised in Brentwood Bay, Leanne had a lengthy and dedicated career at the University of Victoria working in the Facilities Management area.
Leanne’s life was marked by love, care of others and compassion. She was courageous, kind, loving and a ball of fire that showed us what can be accomplished with determination and persistence. Her greatest joy was being a mother. She also loved to cook, bake, garden and travel.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Celebration of Leanne’s Life will be held at the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific, 505 Quayle Road, Victoria, BC on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00pm.
