Gordon William Taylor passed away on July 18, 2023, at Victoria General Hospital after a battle with severe health issues. He was born on December 29, 1951.
Gordon was the eldest of four siblings, and he is survived by his sister, Elizabeth, and his daughters, Apryl and Jennifer. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.
Gordon cherished his home in Saanich, where he was an avid and dedicated gardener. An admirer of pocket-squared T-shirts and a long-time investor in blue denim and Langford plaids. Gord was a lifelong learner; he continued his education and professional development until 2018. He had a profound grit and pride when it came to his career with the Local 324 Union. And when remembering Gord, you also remember his love for dogs. He was the proud owner of multiple Rottweilers, as well as his beloved family dog, Teddy Bear, a Heinz 57 mix who held a special place in his heart.
A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at a later date and is to be determined.
