Ronald James Orr (AKA Ron, Daddy, Papa, Gpops, Ronny, Stretch) was born on November 15, 1934, to James (Jim) and Jane (Jean) Orr. His charismatic personality led him to be an amazing salesperson, ending his career as sales manager for Westrade Wholesale.
Ron died suddenly and unexpectedly but surrounded by his beloved family. He was predeceased by his great love, Gloria (2017) and survived by his loving daughters, Tracy (Larry) Middleton and Kelly (Tom) Orr-Loney, by the best grandchildren in the world, Derek (Cindy) Middleton and Jacci (Ben) Davidson, by his much adored great-grandchildren, Jamie Davidson, Annalyn Davidson, Madison Middleton and Payton Middleton (his grandchildren and great-grandchildren really made his world rock) by his beloved sister-in-law, Patricia (Jack) Johnston and by his nieces, Janice (Scott) Brownlee, Jody LeBlanc and Christine (Miles) Johnston Bate and by many dear friends including his special friend, Shirley Rainey.
We thank all the staff at Parkwood Place and the Royal Jubilee Hospital for their excellent care of dad in his final days. Ron was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
