Gordon Ralph Heal, (82 yrs), of Victoria, BC, unexpectedly passed away due to accident on Friday, June 12, 2026, in Victoria, BC. Born and raised in Victoria, BC
Gordon attended Mt Newton High School and went on to having a fulfilling career as an Oak Bay Firefighter and Heavy-duty mechanic at G & M Diesel. He married Maureen Heal on October 16, 1965. Known for his love of fixing engines to heavy duty machines, fishing, hunting and travelling on cruises with his wife. Gordon lived life to the fullest his way. Gordon brought joy and warmth to everyone he met. He made friends with anyone he talked to.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents: Victor and Thelma Heal and his sister Anne. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Maureen Heal; brother: Wayne (Ronne); children: Gina(Mike), Tracy (Tony), Ron (Jen); grandchildren: Ryan, Jordyn, Elianna, Matthew, Samantha; and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm at The Saanich Fair Grounds, 1528 Stellys Cross Rd, Saanichton, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the SPCA would be appreciated.
