Hanna grew up on Bowen Island, BC and moved to Victoria in 2022. She graduated with honours from Queen’s University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Psychology. She worked as a server, gardener, and childcare worker through her young adult years before finally finding her fit in funeral service. She started at McCall Gardens as a member of the Sequoia Catering staff, and was given the opportunity to begin an apprenticeship in 2023. She is eager to learn the profession and incredibly grateful to be doing it at McCall’s. She will graduate from the Canadian College of Funeral Service as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 2025. In her free time she enjoys card games with family & friends, time with her cats, and adventuring and surfing with her partner Kai.
