Passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria BC. Born to Ernie and Ella Tidbury of Victoria on July 16, 1938. David is survived by his cherished wife of 60 years, Jeanette, his children; Susanne, Joseph, and Pamela (Anthony), grandchildren; Caitlyn, Deanna, and Lumi. David proudly served with the RCAF from 1958-1964, spending several memorable years overseas. Soon after, he began his career as a Broadcast Technician with CHEK Television, retiring in 1998 as Chief Technician. David enjoyed boating, fishing, golf, and tinkering around the house. He especially enjoyed his time with Jeanette, whether it be travelling, going on cruises, dancing, carpet bowling, or just spending time in Bowser. He is fondly remembered for his kindness and humour. Celebration of Life TBD.
