Robert (Bob) Haynes passed away peacefully at Victoria General Hospital on September 25, 2026. He was pre-deceased by his parents and is survived by June his wife of 53 years. Bob was a Professional Engineer and had a successful career in management with Nova Corporation in Alberta. He enjoyed almost 30 years of retirement in Victoria which included golfing at Royal Colwood Golf Course, cycling, jogging, walking and travelling. Bob and June enjoyed trips to Europe and in North America including over 25 Home Exchange vacations. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and care aids who looked after Bob in his final months. Special thank you to Dr. Christopher Lam his family doctor for almost 30 years. If friends wish, donations can be made in Bob’s memory to Our Place.
