Mom passed away peacefully just before dawn on September 8, 2009. She was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 5, 1924. Predeceased by her husband, Bob in 1992, she is survived by her children, Lawrie (Donna), Brian, David, Gary, Dianne (Ken) and Karen (Todd); nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the dedicated staff at Mount Tolmie Hospital for their loving and devoted care of Mom over the past four years.
A Memorial Service will be held in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson &Vancouver Streets, at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 18, 2009 with a reception to follow in McCall’s Family Centre. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations would be appreciated in Mom’s memory to the Victoria Parkinson’s Centre, 813 Darwin Avenue, Victoria, BC, V8X 2X7.
