Elizabeth J. Moore

Peacefully on January 2, 2011 in Victoria, at the age of 78 years. She is survived by William, her loving husband of 53 years; her daughters, Joan (Doug) Easton and Dr. Susan Moore; her granddaughter, Elspeth Easton; her sister, Catherine Baxter and her family. Mom will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Tuesday, January 11th at 3:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the Family Centre. In lieu of flowers, tributes, if desired, may be made to the Victoria Hospice Foundation, 1510 Fort Street, Victoria, BC V8S 5J2 or to the BC Cancer Foundation, 2410 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 6V5.     I was so shocked to recieve the news of Betty’s death, especially after having just reconnected with you both in October.. Too many years had gone by.. it was a wonderful visit “catching up” and I looked forward to getting together again.

    I will cherish the times we had as friends and neighbours in England especially.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Betty was full of love with lots to share. She always wore a welcoming smile and we were warmed by her kindness. I am honoured and blessed to have known her. She will be missed and always remembered.
