Born March 30, 1931 in Guelph, ON. Passed away peacefully on February 6, 2012 in Victoria, BC. Predeceased by her husband Dr. David Barnes in 2005. Lovingly remembered by her son Drew (Karla) Barnes, and sister Leona Hamilton. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Nursing. After a satisfying career, her passion for design led to the completion of a Masters Degree in Landscape Architechture from the University of Guelph.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Central Care Home, for their exceptional care of Fran. A private family service has been held.
