Dave and Danielle MacIntosh Dear Suzanne,
We are sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful mother. Although our boys were never privileged to meet their great-great aunt, the kind and complimentary words spoken by my dad allowed them to be inspired by her. In fact, our son Peter listed her as his ‘hero’ in a class project a few weeks ago.
The world is better for your mother’s intelligence, wit and kindness. Though this is a difficult time, know how much she was appreciated and what a wonderful stamp she left on the world.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you,
Dave, Danielle, Thomas, Jack and Peter

Carol Clarke A very special friend has left this earth and found a place of comfort and peace.
She did it on her terms right to the end.
Marian a true lady, never without earrings, lipstick and perfume.
I admire the strength and persistence with which Marian lived her life and her acceptance of all.
A smile on her face as she discussed politics, memories, life, teaching and so many stories of early days in Ontario and Quebec.
bridge and painting in her 90’s imagine. She would scold me for writing this. Suzanne you have the same strength and persistence as your Mom and you can be proud you fulfilled her wish to die at home, on her terms.
Sorry I am not there but glad for time spent with her before we left.
You are in my heart xxx

Terri Lynde Thinking of you Suzanne ~ bless you & bless your lovely Mom on her ‘new journey’. I had the privilege to meet Marian once in 2001 or 2002 at The Lure Restaurant Christmas lunch with Carol & yourself & RP1 friends. Your Mom was a classy & clever lady. I am pleased I met her & she meant the world to Carol, who treasures your Mom’s painting. You were the best daughter, best care giver & her best friend…..
