David Fox Its been a long while since I knew Dave. He was one of my Cub Scout leaders at Cold Lake Air Force Base in the early ’60’s. My wife and I were coming to Victoria for a bit of a vacation and my Mom, at Red Deer, AB, suggested that I look him up for a visit. I am saddened to learn of his passing as I was looking forward to some remeniscing. But I am glad to read from others that he was such a well liked character.

Margo What sad news to hear of Dave’s passing. He has been such a huge part of my life for many years. He taught me so much working on Tetra projects…an incredible mind and person.
He spoke dearly and often of his family.

Rob Hunter David was one of the best story tellers. My favourite is one where he ran out of gas flying his plane and dropped it down in a farmers field. After removing the wings in order to get it out, he managed to have the police block off a stretch of nearby highway…and away he went. He will be missed.

Lillian Gustafson It is with great regret that I learned of Davids passing. I am one of his Friday night friends at our bingo night, we always referred to it as our social night. It was indeed a social night that we all looked forward to. I know David was always happy to meet us on Friday night. My condolences to all the family, we shall all miss him very much.

I was saddened to hear of Dave’s death, although I have not seen Dave many years, I have clear memories of him as my scoutmaster in Ottawa, his connection with my family, and the adventures we had in building canoes and exploring the Rideau Canal System around Ottawa . He will be remembered.
