Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Breena joined McCall Gardens in 2025 after relocating to Vancouver Island in late 2024. Drawn by the natural beauty and a slower pace of life, she and her partner made the move with the intention of embracing the Island lifestyle – and they have never looked back.

As part of the administration and reception team at McCall’s, Breena brings warmth, attentiveness, and a sincere appreciation for the meaningful work that happens every day. She finds fulfillment in learning about the unique lives of those we serve, often taking time to read their obituaries, kind condolences, and treasured memories shared by loved ones.

Outside of work, Breena enjoys exploring the Island’s many hiking trails, relaxing on the beach, and spending time at the local Sunday farmers markets. She and her partner make a point of starting each Sunday with an early morning hike, often accompanied by their lively seven-month-old puppy at the dog park.
