  • Margaret Jacobson

Dear Dennis, Gary, and families – my sincere condolences and sympathies to you all, as shared too by Sheila MacDonald. My heartfelt memories of your dear parents Alma and Frank go back to 1997 on my new residency at Vista Towers, where I shared 6 years of serving on the Board with Frank presiding and as Treasurer. His legacy of ethical procedures and orderly good governance continue as our basis model today. Alma graciously hosted welcoming teas for every new resident to become warmly acquainted with our mutual neighbours. They set a high standard of decency, compassion, and honesty, with love and personal strength. From a special place in my heart for them both. Margaret Jacobson

Dear Dennis and Gary and families: Please accept my deepest sympathy on Alma’s passing. She was a warm friendly person who helped make Vista Towers a pleasant place to live. Frank was one of our best President’s. They are both missed. I know they met in the choir at St., Mary’s Church and the organist noticed the “winks” going on. They both spoke fondlyof their sons and grandchildren. With sympathy. Sheila MacDonald

Gary, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Your mom was a wonderful woman and although mentally she had detiorated over the past few years, I will always remember her fiesty spirit. I know I had indicated to you that I didn’t wish further contact, Kelly called to let me know she had passed and I thought this appropriate to let you know that I am thinking of your family at this time. God bless,
    Love
    Jody

Alma Rogers thinking of Alma and Frank Robinson when we carpet bowled together at Monterey Centre in Oak Bay Victoria years ago. I fondly remember them. There were two Alma R’s on the sign sheet when we signed up for a game. That got confusing! Alma and Frank were always good company.

    Sending heartfelt sympathy!
