Anna was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and good friend.

Anna graduated from Mt. View High School in 1973 and immediately received employment with the Provincial Civil Service upon completion of her high school work experience. There she received the respect and admiration of her co-workers. Anna was very active with the Strawberry Vale Softball organization where her son and daughter both played. She especially enjoyed her flower filled garden. Her love of cooking and how she would take care of her family was a very important to her and very much appreciated by her family. Most of all, Anna especially enjoyed her family and the many friends and relatives that were often over. She was the type of person who would do anything for the people she loved. Most of all, Anna enjoyed life and did everything to keep her family close.

She will always remain in our hearts. Rest in Peace, Anna.

I am so very sorry to hear of Anna’s passing…I and my husband, Bill(now deceased) lived across the st. from Palma and family.
I always wanted to be Italian and one day said this to Libby when we were over visiting him and Palma and he said well, you could be Italian as you look like one…I was so happy. Anna was the first girl we had to babysit our daughter, Adrienne. She did a great job as Adrienne had always had my mom or bill’s mom to babysit. Adrienne caused quite a fuss but Anna handled it well.
To Palma, Sam and Victor and families I am thinking of you all at this very troubled time. She was much too young to go. Lynda

Doesn’t seem so long ago we all had young children and life was ahead of us. Now our kids are grown; we are wrinkled, gray and we are saying goodbye to our friends. I was out of town Monday or I would have been there. Take care Bob

Sam, Victor, Mrs. Colantonio, the extended Colantonio family and the Soberg family, | express my sincere condolences at the passing of Anna, such a beautiful and happy lady. Although I have not seen Anna in many many years, I do recall her hanging around us as we practiced our music in the Colantonio basement. Unfortunately I did not have the privilege of knowing her as she became a wife and mother, but, I am sure she excelled at both.
    Anna will be missed.

Saddened to hear the passing of Anna. We worked together for many years in the Provincial Government. She was a beautiful loving, devoted mother and friend. Her laughter and ever smiling face brought much happiness to the office. We will miss her. To the family I say:

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory no one can steal
Her memory is our keepsake with which we will never part
God has her in His keeping,
We have you in our hearts.

    To Bob, Ashley and Jarrod

There are stars that go out in the darkness, whose silvery light shineth on. There are roses whose perfume lingers, when the flowers are faded and gone. There are hearts full of love and sweetness, whose life current no longer flows. Still their goodness lives on with the living like the soul of the star and the rose. My heart and love go out to you, love Auntie Ev

    Dear family of Anna,
with great shock i heard of Anna’s passing. I am from Germany and we exchanged lots of funny stories about the German exchange student, and i checked Anna on her German vocabulary. Also, we have had good chats about our dogs.
I can not believe she is not anymore with us…. She was such a kind person and always would know a way to cheer you up.
There is nothing to say what can make it better, but i truly believe that she is looking down from heaven and still will be with her family and friends…just in other ways… she crossed to another frontier and said goodbye … then the time comes she will be the one when it is our time to cross to say Hello again …

  • Anne McKeachie

So sorry to hear of Anna’s passing – such a loss to her family. Anna was so very proud of her family. She often shared stories and pictures of Ashley and Jarrod and her excitement and joy in the milestones of their young lives. I will always remember that Anna coached me in making lasagne “properly” with “fresh pasta” and not that boxed stuff – she even made some fresh pasta for me to use, and to this day, that was the best lasagne I ever made! Thank you Anna, rest in peace. Sincere condolences to Bob, Ashley, Jarrod and family.
