Loraine passed away on Sunday, October 23, 1916. She was born at home in Saanich on July 13, l925.
Loraine was predeceased by her husband, Neil in 1999; sisters, Sadie and Georgie and her brother, Dick. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Cal) Webb and sons, Dan (Jean), George (Bonnie), Jim (Bev); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Loraine and Neil were married in Victoria, BC in 1947. Loraine worked in the X-ray Department at the Royal Jubilee Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, camping and fishing. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with Neil and their family at their cabin on Ruxton Island.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Heritage Church, 537 Glencairn Lane, Colwood, BC, on Friday, November 25th, 2016, at 1 pm with The Rev. Andrew Hewlett officiating. A reception to follow in Emery Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of BC, 202- 306 Burnside Rd. West, Victoria, BC V8Z 1M1 or a charity of your choice.
