Died peacefully April 26, 2010 after battling kidney failure for several years. She was born January 1, 1925 in Seattle, Washington and moved to Vancouver, BC September 3,
1932 where she grew up.
Bliss is survived by her husband Albert, daughter Barbara Jane, son James David Brent and his wife Dawn. Grandchildren Catherine and Matthew.
Bliss worked for the BC Forest Service for 5years.
Married Albert December 3, 1949 together they traveled extensively throughout Canada and abroad for 22 years then retired to Victoria, BC

A Little Death A Little Life
Are you grieving?
Did some one die?
Oh No! The grief is not for death
But for ones dreams –
So cruelly shattered.
Those precious thoughts,
Contained within the heart.
Unspoken words, and some,
So harshly spoken.
I do not grieve for any man,
Who has past beyond this sphere.
My tears are for the living ones
