February 6, 1935 – August 12, 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Chun Lin. Born in Guangzhou, China, she immigrated to Canada in 1957. Predeceased by her husband; Sai On, in 1992, she is survived and will be dearly missed by her children; Gordon, Anne (Keenon) and Alan (Grace) as well as five grandsons; Brandon, Nick, Eric, Kieran and Liam. She was also a special aunt to Brenda and Donna. Mom’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. In recent years, she enjoyed her daily outings at the Crystal Pool. She was a kind and loving person and will be missed by many.

A Funeral Service will be held in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Burial entrusted to Royal Oak Burial Park. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

    Dear Anne, Alan and Gordon:

I was so sad to learn of your mother’s passing. I have such fond memories of hanging out at your house and having your mom be like a second mom to be. I always looked forward to her fried rice and other nummy delicacies. ( I still make her cookies with the rosette irons for Chinese New Year.) She was so fulll of energy and her laugh was contagious. I feel so lucky to have known your mom and will miss her dearly.
