Clifford Allan Pearson

April 30, 1944 – September 7, 2026

April 30, 1944 – September 7, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce Cliff passed away at his home on Monday, September 7th, 2026, in advance of departing on yet another travel adventure; one of his many loves.

He was born in Provost, Alberta to Cliff and Isabelle (Ferris) as their eldest of four children. Cliff is survived by his two sisters, Colleen and Janice, and predeceased by his brother Eric. Cliff lost his one true love, Dorothy (Chivers), on August 13th, 2021, after 52 years of loving marriage. He was amazingly lucky to continue his life’s adventures with Helen Stark, who predeceased him, and Wendy Pearson as his current partner. He will be greatly missed by his sisters, his three sons Richard (wife Jacki), Michael (wife Jeanette) and Stephen and his two grandchildren Owen and Claudia.

Cliff spent his career in mining, culminating as the chief geologist at the Myra Falls property near Campbell River, after graduating from the University of British Columbia. Cliff and Dorothy relocated to Victoria to fulfil their life-long retirement dream where they were also able to be near their children and grandchildren. They spent the following 25+ years travelling to numerous countries experiencing the joy that life offered them. Cliff was a lover of all culture, arts and music, and will be remembered for his keen intellect, gentle sense of humor and lifelong quest to carpe diem.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026, between 1:00 & 4:00 PM at the Ocean Pointe Hotel, 100 Harbour Rd, Victoria, BC.
