We too grieve the death of our wonderful friend Colin. We have very pleasant memories of him, all the way back to engineering studies at the U of S, and our jobs at Westinghouse. The many great fun times spent together with our young families on camping trips and home projects in Ontario will never be forgotten. God bless you Loraine and family with strength and courage to carry on without Colin by your side. With love from Marlyn and Nettie.

  • Bryan Godfrey

I have good memories of Colin’s expert teaching of celestial navigation. He was so patient with an inexpert group of students and so ready to assist in all aspects,..a true gentleman, he is missed.

I am very sad to hear of Colin’s passing. In the early days of Nepean Sailing Club he was a great supporter of the Ontario Sailing Assn’s Sail Nepean Sailing School of which I was a director. Colin saw the importance of the success of the sailing school as a means of growing the membership of NSC. It was his leadership that sowed the seeds for the wonderful club we have today..

  • Tilden Family

The Tilden family of Colorado will dearly miss Joan’s Dad, Greg’s father-in-law, and Ross and Scott’s Grandpa. Colin, who was a Kings Scout, provided both boys with the inspiration to become Eagle Scouts. We fondly remember the trips Colin and Loraine made to visit us in the Colorado mountains including the time where Colin, who did NOT like heights, boarded a ski mountain chairlift for a ride up to 12000 ft. Rest in peace Dad. We will greatly miss your quiet strength, wit and intelligence. Mom, our thoughts are continually with you. We hope your many years of happy memories with dad will sustain you through this sad time.
