Danielle J. Poulson, of Victoria, B.C., passed away unexpectedly on December 28th, 2022. Danielle was only 35 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Danielle was born on July 29th, 1987 in Calgary, Alberta to parents Barry and Brenda Poulson.
She heartbreakingly leaves behind her beautiful little 3 year old son, Phoenix Crone and her fiancé Tyler Crone.
Danielle was predeceased by her paternal grandparents June and Fred Poulson, aunt Gillian Horton, Uncle John Poulson, uncle Darryl Lundy and Cousin Jon Poulson.
Danielle is survived by her parents Brenda (David) Smith and Barry (Terry) Poulson. Her maternal Grandparents, Locksley and Gayle Lundy. Her sisters Tiffany Poulson (nephew, Logan), Melanie Poulson (nephews: George & Max), Penny Poulson (niece, Beau). Her “Aunties” Collette (David) Williams (cousins: Morgan & Bennett), Michelle (Nick)Lundy (cousins: Adam, Ben, Ryan and Heidi), Jacqueline Rimmer (cousins: Talen & Jakob), Her uncle Darin (Anna) Lundy (cousins: Jai, Preeya, Willow, Locksley), any many more beloved Cousins, step sisters and brothers, great aunts, great uncles.
Danielle moved to Victoria from Calgary in 1996 with her sister and mother – she absolutely loved it here even though she constantly prayed for some snow to play in as a child.
After Danielle graduated from High School, her and her friend Nicole traveled Europe at a very young age. These were some of the best times of her short life.
Most recently she worked at London Drugs for many years where she developed many wonderful friendships she held dearly. We know they are all missing her too!
Danielle’s greatest joy was being a mom and help shape Phoenix into the beautiful little man that he is.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Danielle on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM – At St. Stephen’s Hall – 7921 St. Stephen Road, Saanichton, BC. Dress colourfully for Danielle. She was all about colour and inclusion.
In lieu of flowers – a Trust Account has been set up for her son, Phoenix Crone.
