Born October 8, 1931 at Bootle, Cheshire, England. Died April 16, 2013 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. David Barcroft Richardson has played his last earthly game of Bridge and moved on to the Supreme Grand Master’s Table above. No doubt, between hands, he will discuss the appropriate choice of red wine, the vagaries of monetary policy and banking and the state of soccer and rugby. Foremost in his thoughts, however, will be his dear wife, Judy. David is survived by his wife, Judy and nieces, Cynthia Chelle and Tomi-Lee Bon. He will be remembered by his many friends including those at the Castaway Wanderers RFC, the Victoria Bridge Club and Union Club of British Columbia.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date with time and place to be announced. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
