July 18, 1960 – November 25, 2014
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of our sweet Cindy on November 25, 2014 at Royal Jubilee. Cindy was born in Victoria on July 8, 1960 and is survived by her mother, Joan; sister, Lea and brothers; Rick, Drew and Patrick; Aunt, Betty Barnes and nieces and nephews and her family at McRae Group Home. Cindy loved people, music, her art and giving hugs. She attended Garth Homer and was involved with Special Olympics for 20 years. I would like to give special thanks to Victoria Community Living and their staff for the tremendous effort they made to make her last weeks comfortable. We would also like to thank the staff at Jubilee on 8-North and Dr. Eric Milne for caring. Joan and family
We were very saddened to hear of Cindy’s passing, she always had a hug for me when i asked . She was a gentle soul and i especially loved to watch her swim!! I could not even do one lap and she just kept on going. You were such a devoted mother Joan. Take care. Robin
