STEWART, Denison Crawford – Passed away into the presence of his Lord on August 1, 2006 in Victoria, at the age of 89 years. Born, raised and educated in Winnipeg. He was associated in employment with Royal Trust for 31 years in Winnipeg, Montreal, Vancouver and Victoria. As a Notary Public for British Columbia, he practiced for 7 years prior to retiring in Victoria in 1975. He was an elder emeritus of Lambrick Park Church where he attended. He was keenly interested in Christian ministry locally and throughout the world. He is survived by his daughter, Joan Knox and son-in-law, Lawrence; one sister, Doreen Steen; 25 nieces, nephews and many first cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera; grandson, Ryan; his father, Frederick Henry, a pioneer of Winnipeg; his mother, Marguerite (nee Denison); his brother, Beverley of Escondido, CA. and his sister, Audrey of Bryn Mawr, PA. Family and friends may pay their respects at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Monday, August 7, 2006 from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. A Graveside service will be held at Royal Oak Burial Park on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 10:30 am. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 8th at 1:00 pm at Lambrick Park Church, 1780 Feltham Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christian Charities would be appreciated.
