Gibault, Diane (nee McGinnis) our dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Auntie, friend. Diane passed away peacefully in hospital after a very long and courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the young age of 58. She leaves behind her husband Joseph, daughter Nicole Lake, son in law Matthew Lake and special grand children Trystan and Meagan. Predeceased by her father Jack, mother Agnes, brothers Raymond and Donald, sisters Irene (Kehn) and Betty (Dougherty). She is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families, and many, many friends. Diane was born April 19, 1949. Diane was a very loving person and generous to family and friends. With a warm and welcoming smile, she was the definition of hospitable. She loved life, was high-spirited and great fun to be with. She was a determined and strong-willed woman. She had a very strong bond with God, possibly the reason she was able to survive her illness as long as she did. She was, without a doubt, one of a kind and she was cherished by her family. Special thanks to Ron Kehn (nephew), whose help to Diane and Joe has been immeasurable. Diane died with grace and dignity and for that we admire her. A memorial service will be held later at a date to be advised.
