Passed away on September 17th, 2010. She was an amazing woman who lived for her family, friends and her community. She inspired her family to always remain close, to support and rely on one another and this was true even in her death as she left us surrounded by family and loved ones in her home. Dolly was known to so many as Nana, a grandmother to all she encountered. She opened her heart and her door to anyone who needed her and she did this with no hesitation and only the best of intentions. Dolly loved her weekly dart nights, where she was able to brighten everyone’s Monday and stay connected with everyone she loved. She leaves a large family behind her with three brothers, four children, seven grand children and three great-grandchildren who will carry her memory with them always. Dolly fought for many years against a blood disease that finally took its toll, but she didn’t let it get her down and recently shared a proud moment watching her daughter finally marry after 30 years with her husband. It is with great sadness that we say our goodbyes to a woman that meant so much to so many, she will be greatly missed.
