Surrounded by the love of his family and friends, Don passed away peacefully after a short, but brave struggle with cancer. Don will be remembered as a true West-Coaster, a respected fisherman for over 30 years and an integral part of the Victoria Blues Family. Don could not walk down the street without running into someone he knew.

Don loved life, family, friends and of course the dogs, Luke and Leika. Dad, we love you, miss you and will remember you always. Kisses from Laina! Predeceased by his father, Laurence (April 2008). Survived by his mother, Mai; children, Madeleine (Kim), Lexi (Chad), Michael; granddaughter Laina and his brother, Ken.
A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held aboard the S.S. Beaver at Fisherman’s Wharf on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 1:00 pm followed by a party at the Blues Jam.
