Donald passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26th surrounded by his beloved family. He will be missed dearly by his family; Dennis (Esther), Grace, Eric (Susan) and grandchildren Lauren, Matthew, Rachel and Jasmine.
Donald was a hard-working, compassionate and generous man who had always put the interests of others before his own. For over 40 years, he was part of the ownership of Don Mee Restaurant managing the busy kitchen while working long hours, often six days a week.
Special thanks to friends, nurses, doctors and staff at The Heights at Mt. View Residential Care Home who cared for Donald and made him comfortable.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Donald’s life on Thursday October 6th at 10:30am at McCall Gardens, Sequoia Centre, 4665 Falaise Drive with a reception to follow. Interment at Royal Oak Burial Park at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
