We regret to announce the passing of our father, Ted, in the early evening on February 24th. On his retirement from the RCAF in 1964, Dad moved the family to Victoria, and had been able to independently maintain and live in the family home up until his death. He enjoyed puttering in the yard and always had some project on the go. Born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, March 8, 1918, Dad felt he had traveled enough in uniform so that he was perfectly content here and rarely ventured beyond Victoria in his retirement. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary May nearly thirty years ago and his two older brothers, Ted leaves a sister, Isabel Colmer, a daughter, Lorna, two sons, Robert (Shelagh) and Alan, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and his feline friend, Baxter, to mourn his passing. No service by Ted’s request. In lieu of flowers please donate to the SPCA.
