Eleanor passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord with her family by her side on May 25th, 2021. Eleanor and her husband David emigrated from England to Canada in 1956 and lived in Port Alberni for 7 years and then settled in Victoria. Eleanor worked as a secretary in the Federal Government, sold Tupperware, and found her passion as a travel agent where she took groups of seniors across the globe.

She loved being with her family and was an excellent cook, her apple pie was a family favourite. She loved playing bridge, volunteered at the Cancer Clinic for many years and was a member of the Sons of Scotland.

David and Eleanor were married for 65 years and she was a wonderful mother to her four children, Diane Silletta, Maureen (Gus) dos Reis, Paul (Lynne), and Elizabeth (John) Croucher. She also leaves behind a legacy of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Special thanks to Glenwarren Lodge for the excellent care they provided to Eleanor for the past 10 years.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date when the Covid restrictions are lifted.
