Gibson, Elizabeth Mary (Hutchings), a charmer all her life, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2002, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her son Robin, and is survived by Donald, her loving husband of 52 years. She always enjoyed and affirmed her children, Ian and Joy, their partners Linda and Len, and her grandchildren, Rohanna, Eli, Zoey, Stefanie and Nicole.
She grew up on a farm, then nursed for 10 years, largely in the British Army. She created a home where her family and friends always felt welcomed and loved, a happy place.
The funeral will be at St. Matthias Church (Richardson/Richmond, Victoria) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, with the Rev. Ron Corcoran officiating.
Her family are deeply grateful to the staff of Fairfield Unit, Glengarry Hospital, for all their loving care, and to her Lord and Master, whom she has now joined, for her life and love.
